Measles Protection Act:
Get a shot, if necessary
On November 14, 2019, the German Bundestag passed the Measles Protection Act, thereby establishing mandatory vaccination protection for all children from the age of one upon entering school or kindergarten. The same applies to educators and staff who work in daycare centers.
The law comes into force on March 1st, 2020. Early next year, the rainbowtrekkers management will discuss our further course of action on this matter and adjust our internal processes accordingly. We will keep you updated about this topic during the next few months.
Please already now, however, check whether your child has adequate vaccination protection against measles and have it refreshed or or get an initial shot if necessary.
